Recently, a new fake message called “The Students Laptop Scheme 2024” or “Free Student Laptop 2024” has been circulating on WhatsApp, claiming that all college students will receive free laptops. The message instructs recipients to complete an application form for the Students Laptop Scheme 2024 via a link provided in the message in order to receive the free laptop. It’s important to be aware that this message is fake and should not be trusted.

According to this Viral Message, “this scheme is open to all students who, for financial reasons, are unable to purchase a laptop for themselves and require a laptop at the level of education.”

There is a condition, this offer is only for students, and students from all countries are eligible. According to the viral message, over 560,000 students will be given free laptops to improve their learning in 2021 this month.

You should never enter your information into a fraudulent website.

In this “Students Laptop Scheme 2024” Application form, even if you don’t fill in any option, even then the form will be submitted. This is fake so when you see such a type of website you just try to submit without giving you any personal details (just for checking purposes). The domain registration for this website (this is a complete domain “https://lapt0ps-for-students.claim-litt.online”, here “claim.litt.online” is the main domain, and “lapt0ps-for-students.claim-litt.online” is a sub-domain) was done yesterday (28 October 2021). You can see the whois data of this website and today they have successfully spread the fake message on WhatsApp you can imagine how smart they are.
