Google Updated its 'G' Logo

A smoother, modern design of 'G' Logo of Google

What’s New?

After almost a decade, Google has updated the logo of its “G” symbol. It is now live on apps for iPhones, Android, and Pixel devices as well as on the beta versions.

Modern  Gradient Look

The logo now has smooth transitions from Red to Yellow to Green to Blue. There are no sharp edges between the colors.

Inspired by AI Design

The new gradient style resembles the Gemini AI logo, which is by Google. It gives off a more modern look and makes it feel more fluid, aligning with AI branding.

Throwback to 2015

When Google introduced the Product Sans font in 2015, it also rolled out a solid “G” icon. For nearly a decade, that version stayed unchanged.
